Travel is one of my main passions in life and I believe it is very important for developing as a person, as it allows you to see the world from a different perspective. Whilst on the topic of travel, I have been lucky enough to be selected for an Erasmus Exchange Programme which is set up by my University here in Sheffield. The exchange gives students the opportunity to study their courses abroad. I was assigned the beautiful city of Barcelona and I can’t wait to experience the culture whilst studying a subject that I am extremely passionate about. This opportunity will open so many doors in terms of career prospects and travel, so I couldn’t be more excited.
Keeping on the topic of travel, I thought I would write a photo post about a trip that me and my university friends took in February this year to the wonderful city of Amsterdam. I have been meaning to do for a while, but it’s better late than never. I feel so privileged at the moment. Not only am I studying a degree that I am so passionate about, I am actually lucky enough to be studying it with the most amazing people I’ve ever met. This may sound so cringey, but I feel so lucky as to have made so many great friends here at university, as I know that some people aren’t this lucky and find it hard to fit in at University because it is a very daunting prospect. I know the people that I’ve met are friends for life and they will no doubt be part of my future, and I can’t wait to see what we all end up doing. But for the mean time, here are a few snapshots of our Amsterdam trip back in February, the first of many I hope. Enjoy!
