She has finally revealed her debut footwear collection, which is exclusive at the American Department Store Nordstorm on Feburary 28th, although for all you British fashion followers out there, they are also availiable to preview on Nordstorm.com ( so dont panic). Parker states she was influenced by classic styles from the late 70’s to the early 80’s. Style ranges from elegant T-bars to metalic stillettos, suede flip flops to espadrille wedges, so there is literally a shoe genre for any occassion.
Also, Swarovski has unveiled the designers who will form its collective for the forthcoming autumn/winter collection 2014 season. The likes of Mary Katrantzou, Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, Suno, Maxime Simoens and Masha MA are all collaberating from London, Pairs and New York to create little crystalised drops of heaven.
Big talk in fashion this past week, is Kate Moss and her haunting McQueen campaign. The newly turned 40 world wide supermodel has been revealed as the new face of Alexander McQueen- this is surprislyingly the first time the international supermodel has been the face for the brand. The capitivating shot was created by long time McQueen collabertaor Steve Klein, in east end London.
Zooey Deschanel has designed a capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger- inlcuding 16 dresses, 14 of which will be launched in Macys on April 14th, with the full collection arriving on Tommy.com on April 21st. Hilfigher states they are sixties inspired short dresses with alot of red, white and blue, however, created with interesting details and flirty fabrics- with a unique twist on each piece, that will captivate Deschanels unqiue and quirky character.
